E-Marco-400 Instructions
Using the mortar kit is so simple. Instructions here are almost not necessary.
- just use the bucket provided, add a small amount of the mortar powder
- then adding a liquid and slowly start mixing (go slow with the liquid it will go a long way)
- keep adding mortar and liquid until you achieve a nice thick wet but no slump consistency
Mix ONLY what you can use in 10-15minutes, it will begin to harden and become unworkable in about 20min. Full strength will be reached in 24 hrs. Because this is "hydraulic" mortar it will cure in water also. Just give it about an hour so that it can be handled before tanking.
The kit comes with a bit more liquied than needed, so use some to wet the rock surface before applying the mortar as this will help mortar "wick" into the rock for a stronger joint.
