Hanna Reagents for Marine Magnesium (25 tests)
The HI783-25 are the replacement reagents for the Marine Magnesium Checker® HC - HI783. These high-quality reagents are manufactured in Hanna´s state-of-the-art facility and are clearly marked with the lot number and expiration date on each packet for traceability.
The HI783-25 are high-quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate measurements with their Marine Magnesium Checker® HC. These reagents follow the colorimetric EDTA method using calmagite indicator in which the reaction between magnesium and the reagent causes a blue to violet tint in the sample. By simply adding the packet of HI783-25 reagent to the sample, the reaction will take place and the HI783 will determine the concentration from the color that is produced. The results will be displayed in ppm of Magnesium. These reagents are designed to be used with saltwater samples that have an expected range of 1,000 to 1,800 ppm.
